1 Bishop Monkton Yesterday – On the Web  by Chris Bagnall

Presentation given by Chris describing the way in which past memories, pictures, documents
and stories about village life in Bishop Monkton, can be accessible to everyone.

2. Bishop Monkton’s Listed Buildings and Conservation Area by David Richold

David will be explaining which group of buildings are Grade 11 Listed including listing details, and in addition, what can or can’t be done without approval in the Conservation Area of Bishop Monkton.

FORTHCOMING WALKS AND VISITS

From Mill to Mill and Beyond – Thursday 9th May 2-4pm with Sue Hargreaves



Sue, who spent her childhood growing up in the village, will tell us about family and village life as she takes us on a walk down memory lane. Starting at the Paper Mill (Freedom Mill) and travelling to the Corn Mill and further, Sue reveals fascinating places and anecdotes on the way.

Guided Tour Markenfield Hall – Thursday, June 6 from  2-4pm



This will be a comprehensive tour round Markenfield Hall with a specialist guide, who will also potentially highlight any past links with Bishop Monkton.
